Dog Boarding FAQs

Do I have to bring my dog in to meet you before boarding?

Yes. Because all dog boarding guests participate in daycare during their stay, we require all potential boarding guests to come in for at least one day of daycare before they can spend the night with us. This helps ensure that we are a good fit for your dog.

What do I need to bring for my dog to spend the night?

We recommend bringing their regular food, changing a dog’s diet suddenly can cause gastrointestinal stress. Please provide their normal food in a resealable container. Feeding instructions will be gone over by our front desk associates upon arrival. The Pet Spot is happy to manage special diets that require refrigeration, freezing, and microwaving. Feel free to provide any treats your animal eats regularly, as well.

We will provide your dog with bowls and fleece blankets for their stay. Pet parents are encouraged to bring their animals bed from home as well as a few toys. NO RAWHIDES OR CHOKING HAZARDS PLEASE.

Do I need a reservation?

Yes. Because we limit the number of dogs in our playgroups, reservations are required. We often fill up months in advance for holidays, so please plan accordingly. We encourage you to contact us as early as possible to make your pup’s reservation.

Cancellation Policy

We require 24-hour notice for all boarding reservation cancellations. If you fail to provide 24-hour notice, you may be charged the full rate for your reservation.

Boarding Policies

We are happy to administer oral or topical medications or supplements to your pets! Medication must be in the original prescribed container with the legible prescription label.
Please bring enough food for the duration of your pet’s boarding stay. You must provide individual prepackaged containers or Ziplock bags with your pet’s name and food measured by meal. Canned food and meal toppers are accepted in their original container but must be labeled with your pet’s name.
