Customer Service Team Member
Customer Service Specialist
- Supports pet care specialist team
- Sells services and products to existing and perspective clients
- Provides tours to clients and visitors through the facility
- Answers phones, receives and provides appropriate information according to established procedures
- Welcomes clients and pet guests and ensures pet guests have the proper up-to-date vaccination records
- Responsible for cash management including accepting cash, checks and credit card payments for services provided
- Explains company and facility policies to customers in a positive manner
- Responds to customer complaints in a professional, courteous manner and acts to satisfactorily resolve the problem: if necessary elevates to supervisor as needed
- Escorts guests to and from their play yard or enclosure
- Operates the point of sale system for reservations and payment of services
Requirements:
- Must be committed to using science driven, force-free, fear-free handling and training techniques
- Must at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have ability to resolve problems quickly and professionally
- Must be eligible to work in the US
- Must have reliable transportation
- Customer service experience a plus
- Must have excellent telephone skills, including experience with a multi-line phone system
- Experience in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Canva a plus
- Must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs frequently
- Must work holidays, nights and weekends
- Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions
- Must successfully complete on-the-job training and educational reading during the first three months
- Previous professional dog handling experience and knowledge of canine body language preferred
- Most importantly, you must love dogs and cats!
Pet Care Team Member
Pet Care Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Supervise up to 15 dogs in group play
- Ensure dogs have access to clean water at all times
- Work on individual enrichment activities with each dog
- Follow specific care and training instructions for each dog
- Monitor the dogs for health and behavior changes and update management as necessary
- Visually check each guest for safety and well-being throughout the day
- Work with other team members to maintain a safe and positive environment for our guests
- Sanitize and disinfect pet enclosures, general boarding areas, play yards, and overall facility daily
- Perform daily laundry tasks
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be committed to using science driven, force-free, fear-free handling and training techniques
- Must at least 18 years of age
- Must be eligible to work in the US
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must work in any kind of weather
- This job requires you to be on your feet for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Have experience interacting with and caring for dogs
- Must work holidays, nights and weekends
- Must successfully complete on-the-job training and educational reading during the first three months
- Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions
- Previous professional dog handling experience and knowledge of canine body language preferred
- Most importantly, you must love dogs and cats!
